Payment and Enrolment Terms
1. Payment options
Barber School Wales offers several ways to pay, which may include:
Payment in full
An instalment payment plan
The applicable course fee, deposit and payment schedule will be provided privately during enrolment, before you sign the Student Course Agreement.
2. Confirming your place
Submitting an application does not reserve a course place.
Your place is confirmed only when:
You have reviewed and signed the Student Course Agreement;
Barber School Wales has accepted your enrolment; and
The agreed deposit has been received in cleared funds.
The deposit forms part of the total course fee and is not an additional charge.
3. Cancellation rights
If you enrol online, by telephone or away from our premises, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the Student Course Agreement.
Where this right applies, you may cancel by emailing info@barberschoolwales.co.uk. Any refund due will be processed in accordance with applicable consumer law.
If you ask us to begin providing services during the cancellation period, you may be required to pay a reasonable amount for services already provided.
4. Cancellations after the 14-day period
If you cancel after any applicable cooling-off period, any refund or amount retained will be calculated in accordance with your Student Course Agreement and applicable consumer law.
Barber School Wales may retain an appropriate amount to cover losses directly caused by your cancellation. We will take into account costs saved, the notice provided and whether your place can reasonably be offered to another student.
Deposits are not automatically non-refundable in every circumstance.
5. Instalment plans
Students using an instalment plan must make payments according to the schedule confirmed during enrolment.
If you believe you may miss a payment, contact us as soon as possible. Missed payments may affect your ability to continue training, but we will contact you and provide an opportunity to resolve the situation before taking further action.
Any instalment-plan charges will be clearly explained before you enter into the Student Course Agreement.
6. Non-attendance or withdrawal
Not attending or leaving the course does not automatically cancel your payment obligations.
Any amount payable or refundable will depend on the circumstances, the services already provided, our reasonable losses and the terms of your signed Student Course Agreement.
Students should contact us as soon as possible if illness, personal circumstances or another serious issue affects their attendance.
7. Changes made by Barber School Wales
We may make reasonable changes to course dates, educators or delivery arrangements where necessary.
We will provide as much notice as reasonably possible. If we make a significant change and cannot offer a suitable alternative, you may be entitled to transfer to another course or receive a refund for services that have not been provided.
8. Full agreement
These website terms provide a summary of our payment and enrolment process. Your complete course fees, payment schedule and contractual terms will be provided privately during enrolment.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
